How can you be that far off? The MLB really needs to figure out something when it comes to the home plate ump calling balls and strikes. It's so bad sometimes. One of the main reasons I stopped watching baseball. When they put the pitch clock in I tried coming back but the umps will be the reason I stop watching again.🤷‍♂️

It should be noted that umpires are having a lot of difficulties with that outside pitch when they are set up on the inside corner. I know about Angel. He is horrible. the umpire union is destroying baseball. but you can always tell the good umps from the bad umps on that outside pitch. the good umpires struggle with this as well, but not to that degree. I saw a blog that according to ratings the top 10% of AAA umpires would be rated in the top half of the major league umpires. Is that true?

you either need to take advantage of technology to make baseball as fair and level and predictable as possible, or you need to keep technology the hell out of it, and keep it 100% human. the MLB is trying to split the baby and doing a horrible job at it. minor league games are way more enjoyable.
